The dark side of the force is getting stronger now… Nevertheless, the jedi does not need to worry so much. Nikon just bagged two TIPA 2008 awards, Expert and Professional DLSR categories. Expert category won by the D300 and the professional category won by the D3 . Fanatics Nikonians must be rejoice, they have more points to bring up during the heated discussion about the best SLR in the market.

The other two categories, entry and advance level won by Sony and Canon. Sony Alpha 200 won the entry level DSLR while Canon 400D won the Advance category. Click for full list of winners for all categories.

The thing is, Nikon did not manufactured their own sensor¹. Sony doing it for them. There is a rumor about upcoming A900 will use the same sensor as the D3. Sony, though still new is becoming more and more popular day by day. Their current line-up getting more and more attentions, lets see what Sony will bring to us with the A900. Could it compete the D3? The members of the orange legion believe so.
