after some hesitation, i decided to enable this theme and hope you guys like it. this theme called selama which named after my hometown. this is not the theme i write about some weeks ago, that theme actually finished but didn’t deliver the result that i want. plus it’s more on ‘training ground’ for me and much importantly, it’s actually it’s just another css skin for sandbox theme. i decided to scrap that theme.
last week, i started working on this theme and completed in two days, not many graphics involved. but keep on hesitate to turn it on. i do enable it for very brief period to see the result. last friday, i ‘clean up’ older entries which is messed up with a lot of single divs and div opened before more and closed after more which cause the layout goes haywire. after some thoroughly testing, i’m sure everything is ok now, hopefully :-D.
last night, i uploaded the latest files. i keep on looking for area of improvements and there’s a lot, but i think this should go up first. maybe on the next version i’ll add more juice to it. therefore, i turned it on. this theme uses famfamfam silk icons converted to gif. it’s not available for download for now and i’m not going to submit it to any theme sites anyway. it’s valid xhtml but with some entries it can become invalid. i don’t really care actually and don’t really have another round to fix every single entries.
Future planning for this theme includes another two css, print and mobile, more appealing layout, ajax where necessary, effects where necessary and more plugins (flickr, feedlinks). The original name for this theme actually r3c3 which means 3 rows and 3 columns but then i decided to change it to selama instead.
p/s: theme kbbb takkan keluar sebab aku bukan orang kampung baru balik bukit hehehe…
