In my previous post, i mentioned about Proton and Primax pact on record setting attempt. Here’s the info from their website. It’s going to held from 17 to 19 September 2006 (last day until tomorrow) and anyone can participate to join the convoy, currently about 15 cars from SAVOC alone confirm joining the convoy. Savvy-Primax 3 Peninsular Malaysia Fuel Economy Record Run
17 - 19 September 2006Proton will be organising this record breaking attemp in a Savvy this Sunday 17 September 2006 and they have cordially invited SAVOC Members to come join this historic event.
The event will involve 2 Proton Savvy traveling around peninsullar Malaysia covering a total distance of 1619km using the least amount of fuel to set the fuel ecomy record in the Malaysia Book of Records.
Proton is inviting SAVOC Members to form a large convoy of Proton Savvy (hopefully all from SAVOC) escorting the two record breaking cars. The convoy will begin a the Proton Centre of Excellence and end at the Sugai Buloh R&R.
There will be an unofficial TT session with Proton at the Sugai Buloh R&R.
